i2 TextChart	Occasional, Daily	Discover the basic functionality of TextChart including charting from unstructured data, searching and using target lists. This session covers opening a TextChart workspace in Analyst's Notebook and basic analysis. Pre-requisites: Working knowledge of Analyst's Notebook.
Importing in i2 Analyst's Notebook 7 - 101	All	Visualize your import as you create it. Using the new intuitive Importer in Analyst's Notebook 7, learn how to import a simple association or timeline chart.
Importing in i2 Analyst's Notebook 7 - 201	Advanced	Import specifications aren't born, they are created. Learn how to set up and run an import specification for a sequence of events chart.
In Sequence	Daily	In this session, learn techniques for effectively creating a manual sequence of events chart. Then find out when incorporating themelines might be appropriate to create a more descriptive chart.
Label vs. Attribute	Occasional	Learn why and when to assign data on a label as opposed to an attribute and how it affects the analysis process. Financial data will be used to demonstrate the advantages of both.
Open Lab [i2 Analyst's Notebook]	All	Meet with an instructor one-on-one to address your individual questions about Analyst's Notebook.
Power of Perspective	Occasional	Learn to achieve different perspectives with the same data through timeline and association layouts. The Layout setup feature will be discussed in depth.
Presentation vs. Analysis	Occasional, Daily	Begin with the end in mind. A chart created for presentation is different from one created for analysis. Learn to use display options effectively and see what happens when you change the color of a link, type of entity, etc.
Share the Wealth	Daily	Learn how to share data effectively and efficiently through hyperlinking, packaging and copying import specifications.
Show Me the Money	Occasional	Financial data can be confusing when not formatted correctly. Learn how to determine what you need from the data and how to set it up for maximum performance. This lab will concentrate specifically on importing and viewing credit card transaction data.
Structured Activity	Advanced	This fast-paced session tests your skills with Analyst's Notebook. You will be given raw data, which you will import with no guidance, before answering specific questions concerning the data.
Templates with i2 TextChart	Daily, Advanced	TextChart template is an essential component when using TextChart with iBase and Analyst's Notebook. Learn about derived attributes, entities, links and creating an iBase TextChart template. In this lab, you will create a new template from scratch for use with TextChart alone or with Analyst's Notebook.
The Nuts and Bolts of Chart Creation	Occasional	Are you new to Analyst's Notebook or looking to refresh your knowledge of the software? This lab introduces the basic concepts and terminology of the software as well as its features.
Using i2 TextChart for Unstructured Data Imports	Daily	Examine the new and expanded live connection between TextChart 3 and iBase 5. Learn basic TextChart functionality; charting from documents, searching and target lists; database schema restrictions; and derived attributes. Pre-requisites: Working knowledge of Analyst's Notebook and iBase.
What's New in i2 Analyst's Notebook 7	All	This session highlights new features in Analyst's Notebook 7. Learn to shade icons, list Linked Items, Filter and Sort listed items, add hyperlinks and more.
When Good Data Goes Bad	Daily	So it took a little while to set up your import specification just right, but when you ran it, it's not what you expected. This lab examines chart structure and ways to quickly identify where and how to make import changes.
Who's Calling?	Occasional	Learn the basics of importing telephone data into Analyst's Notebook and discuss best practices in directional data setup in a timeline chart. The effective use of adding attributes to import specifications will be discussed.
You Have Data. Now What?	Daily	Learn how to set up import specifications to achieve the chart you desire. In this session, you will chart surveillance data to follow activities and movement of a suspect based on visual and GPS data.

Grab and Go Data	Daily	Experience the dynamic duo of Analyst's Notebook and iBase in action. Extract records from iBase via Analyst's Notebook and learn how to expand a record to find linked entities within the database.
i2 iBase Designer 101	Occasional	Learn to create a new database with entities and how to link these entities within the database. Field options will also be discussed.
i2 iBase Designer 201	Advanced	Create user friendly Datasheets and complete Code Lists to make data entry faster and more efficient. Lots of options for the code list? No worries, you'll learn to import the data directly into iBase.
i2 iBase User 101	Occasional	This session introduces the main features and functionalities of iBase. Learn to find entities, browse for data and create simple queries.
i2 iBase User 201	Advanced	So you're familiar with iBase basics? Learn to create complex queries such as Scored Matching which creates weighted searches. Then learn to save query results for recall at a later time.
